Altered Realities

Altered Realities is a congregation of everything I see, touch, hear or feel.  This digital combination of images spring from old drawings, paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs.  The process is pretty fluid as I try and let the images I’m playing with inform me toward the finished piece.  I might not even have the original centerpiece in the finished product. I usually work in series based on themes, this work has opened up more starting points and expanded my visual vocabulary.  Now, I’ve started pushing some of the newer pieces loosely into the series format as there are more visual connections happening in the work.
